Betsy McLaughlin has served on BARK’s Board of Directors since December 2017. She was CEO of Hot Topic, Inc. from 2000 to 2011, and has since been a board member of various retail and restaurant companies.
Prior to this, Ms. McLaughlin held various leadership positions at Hot Topic, including president from 1999 to 2000, senior vice president of merchandising & marketing from 1996 to 2000, and vice president of operations from 1993 to 1996. She also held various positions with Miller’s Outpost and The Broadway Department Stores. Ms. McLaughlin serves on the Board of Directors of a number of private companies, including 5.11 Tactical, Everlane, Lazy Dog Restaurants, Dolls Kill, and Good American.
She previously served on the Board of Directors of Noodles & Company and Hot Topic. Ms. McLaughlin received a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Irvine, and she was a member of the Board of Advisors and Executive Committee of the UCLA Anderson School for 17 years.
